J. Marissa Waskiewicz
J. Marissa Waskiewicz joined Summit Insurance Advisors in 2015 as Employee Benefits Account Manager, and was recently promoted to Director of Client Services. Marissa is responsible for managing client communications, licensing, claims assistance, service, and renewals at the group and individual market level.
Responsible for managing the implementation and activities of clients’ employee benefit plans, growth of existing clients through relationships and excellent customer service. Manages accounts on an ongoing basis, performing essential functions including: plan analysis and plan design recommendations, preparing submissions, negotiating rates with carriers, and preparing proposals.
Marissa earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Washington College in Chestertown, MD and recently achieved her SHRM-CP certification in 2016.
